"Kaketsuka Yatai festival" This is the festival of Kibune
shrine held in Ryuyo town, Shizuoka Prefecture every year on October on
the third Saturday and Sunday.
Yatai are large festive floats made of wood and are lavishely decorated
with carvings.
This festival began about 600 years ago,and The oldest float was built
200 years ago.
