Tattoo You album together from older tracks,
going as far back as the sessions from Kingston,
Jamaica's Dynamic Sound Studios,
which had spawned the Goats Head Soup album.
Those sessions, of course, featured Mick Taylor.
Tops: A Goat's Head outtake, reappearing years
later, made many think that Ronnie Wood had
been taking lessons from MT.
In actuality, that's Taylor's solo right in the middle and end. Another
great embellishment.
Waiting On A Friend: That's Taylor on rhythm guitar throughout. It has been
rumored that Sonny Rollins' sax solo
is based on a recorded solo Taylor laid down on the original 1972 recording,
which was wiped off the released track.
